Week of Activities!

Happy Birthday Elias! He was explaining exactly how to play push the tractor before bed. :)

All day Tuesday we said Happy Birthday! As much as possible. We had a laid bavk day with KidsKorner (gym), donuts, birthday lunch, then help out our neighbor Grandma Thyrene and play with her grand kids' toys!!!

Elias is such a fun kid. He definitely thinks he should be able to do everything the big kids do, but do it by himself. He's still working on sharing and is very determined. He's a great helper with closing doors, putting shoes away, and doing things according to routine. He is our constant reminder of our nightly scripture reading by bringing Jason the book.

Wednesday was a beautiful day with a huge storm that evening and fast forming tornadoes. All was fine in our area, and we saw this rainbow after all had passed.

Thursday we skipped the morning gym to catch up on school. Then around lunchtime we went and visited the airplane park near Tinker AFB. It was nice for the kids and I think a spot we'll visit again. One way in- one way out!

We had a few science projects to get caught up on, so the kids e perimented with how the Sun affects temperature. I can definitely feel the need to be at home doing this with them.

Then it was planting seeds time!

First and only

Just wanted to take a sabbath evening to record how much this one is growing. She is almost 6 1/2 and is our little/big helper.

She does great with order and structure. When I come home exhausted from church after staying  after for meetings and crash on the couch, she makes me a peanut butter and honey sandwich. She prefers quiet familiar activities to flashy, noisey new experiences. She can swing alllllll day long and she loves to be outside with our dogs and her little brothers. She has a kind heart and loves to take care of babies and help others. She has meltdowns and then pulls it together again. She loves to say "te amo papi" to dad and sign "love you mom" to me. She's just on the verge of reading fluently and I'm so grateful I have to opportunity to watch her learn and experience life during this precious time!

On Sesame Street

The boys and I were able to see Sesame Street Live this past weekend with some tickets from good friends. Initially we had planned to take the older two, but with Kaylena's light and noise sensitivities and the fact that Elias is turning 2 in a couple weeks, we decided to take the boys.

It was a great chance to spend time with them and to let Joseph really shine and take the lead as the older one. They were both very well behaved and we all had a great time! By the end there were smiles. Hahahaha
